Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about playing You For Sure, the free browser party game.

How many players do you need?

You For Sure works with 3 to 10 players. It is best with a group that knows each other, since the fun comes from voting on who fits each question.

Is You For Sure free?

Yes. You can create a lobby and play a full game for free, with no account required. Extra question packs are available to buy, but you never need them to play.

Do I need to download or install anything?

No. It runs in any modern web browser on a phone or laptop, with no download and no console. If you want, you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.

Is it like Jackbox?

It shares the format you may know from Jackbox: one host and everyone else joins from their own phone. You For Sure is free, browser-only, and focused on a single game, voting on "who's most likely to…" questions over 10 rounds.

What devices work?

Any device with a modern browser, phones, tablets, and laptops. Each player uses their own device to vote, so all you share is a 4-character code or a join link.

Can we play remotely over a video call?

Yes. Share the join link in a Discord, Zoom, or FaceTime call and everyone can play from wherever they are. No one needs to share their screen.

How long does a game take?

A game is 10 rounds and usually runs about 20 to 45 minutes depending on group size and how much you talk between rounds.

What languages are supported?

English, Spanish, and Romanian. Each player can pick their own language, so a mixed group can all play at once.
